Twittering from my therapy practice
My clients ask lots of interesting questions about love and relationships, and prompt ideas that could easily find their way into a future book. However up to now, there’s been two frustrations. Firstly, conventional publishing takes a long time. I need at least a year to write a book and then Bloomsbury need a year from delivery of the manuscript to the book arriving in the shop (so they can edit, design and promote it). Secondly, some ideas comment on existing books – so it’s too late – or don’t fit into any of my immediate plans. It would be a shame to just let these questions, ideas and leaning just disappear. So I’m going to start experimenting with tweeting questions raised by clients, people coming to workshops and letters to Ask Andrew to generate debate.
It could be that these tweets will help with your particular relationship dilemma or supplement the book that you’re reading. It could just provide that little bit of extra support on a tough day. So why not subscribe to me on twitter?
