Workshops & Counselling with Andrew G Marshall

Andrew is pleased to announce a new workshop which aims to take the stress out of relationships and help you communicate better. It’s called How to have a Mindful Relationship and will take place at the MIC Centre Euston St NW1 (close to Euston Station) on Saturday 15th June. See www.micentre.com.

My workshops are kept small and intimate (and the maximum number is twelve). In this way, there is enough time for personal issues – if you so wish – but it’s up to each participant to decide for themselves how much, or how little to share. There is no pressure and this next workshop is more about teaching skills and coping mechanisms, so if you’re worried about working in a group please be reassured.  I will be leading the course with my colleague Claudio Esposito. How to have a mindful relationship:

One of the hardest skills to learn is living in the moment, as we can easily get overwhelmed with pain from the past or worry about the future. However, if you can learn to live in the present, today, right now, the rewards are immense. You will feel calmer, better able to cope with day-to-day issues, be less stressed and most importantly: Make better relationships.

I recommend this workshop especially if you are recovering from discovering your partner’s infidelity or being told ‘I love you but I’m not in love with you’. Time and again, I find people are making great progress but their fears overwhelm them, they push for reassurance or ‘to know where I stand’ and undo all their good work. The workshop will also be helpful for anyone just starting a promising relationship but worried that they might put their new man or woman off by becoming too needy or are currently looking for love and aware that they can easily get stressed out by today’s dating scene. Finally, mindfulness is useful for dealing with stress and anxiety.

The cost is £175 and this includes a hot lunch, tea/coffee and other refreshments.
